lyrics

Jan 8, 2011

They came by the thousands
the wheels turning took them
Some rich and some jobless
Some learning from hard lessons
And right on cue they formed a procession
You wouldn't know they hadn't practiced before

Is it time?
Do we find ourselves feeling bored?
What's in store this time?

Each held up the 2nd Amendment
And pointed straight at the moment they hated
Superior - that's what we call ourselves
Interiors filled up with hatred and spite

Are we right?
Are we right after all?
Rise and fall with the tide

And see what we can be

Gabrielle lay down your flintlock and pistol
The 8,000 strong will continue to prevail
Now is the time to take back America
Let me define - and right there's the problem

When you confine just a few
Breaks the whole meaning down
No common ground

No common point of view
